RHONDA RE-IMAGINED was recorded over two intimate performances at 800 East Studios in Atlanta, GA. This offering is Rhonda’s first live album and it features both new and newly arranged originals.

The first single, “For My Sisters” is more than a women’s empowerment song. Rhonda wrote this women’s unification song with the belief that we are stronger together than we are apart. The music of “For My Sisters” was created by DJ Kemit and Luke Austin.

The live album features: pianist, Tyrone Jackson; guitarist, Andre Avelino; drummer, Wellington “Boo” Britt; bassist, Dexter Whitaker; percussionist, Frankie Quinones; and background vocalists, Netta Finley and Kevian Bateman.

The project was mixed and mastered by Darren “Daz-i-kue” Benjamin. RHONDA THOMAS possesses a unique, soulful and sultry voice that is fully on display when performing live. You will hear this on her rearrangements of “Breathe New Life”, “Listen” and “I Would Rather”. She has always approached her vocals as one instrument in her band and she uses both her voice and stage presence to enhance each band member. This is most evident in songs like “Doot Doot” and “Just A Phase”.
